| PARKING UPDATES |
| 8/11/07: Due to the stadium construction a new access lane was in place for last nights preseason game. We lost a section of the wall and there were spaces blocked off between where we usually park and the curb by the port a johns. If this holds for the regular season, we will be ok, as the tailgate will go out vertically from the wall vs horizontal. The key will be to get to the game early. I suggest planning to get there no later than 9AM for opening day, as we will have the migration of those who lost their spots. Thomas, Eric and myself will be there by 7AM or so to set up the tailgate area so we do not "take up" available spaces. Any feedback can be registered in the blog 8/25/07 Jets vs. Giants: Decent crowd, lot filled by about 6:30PM or 1 1/2 hours before kickoff. Lot 5A looked as it always does and we had no problems using the regular spot. I still suggest no later for opening day. Some of the other tailgaters I talk to are planning on getting there 6:30AM. |
